Aerobic Exercise for Weight loss

Cardio Exercise exercises the one of the most important part of our human body, HEART.
This type of exercise involves the use of more oxygen while performing the workout. Example of a Cardio
workout is Brisk Walking, jogging, running, Skipping. In this type of exercise the heart rate is increased to a
certain limit and the lung capacity in terms of taking in oxygen by the body is also tested. Aerobic or Cardio
exercise causes the body to utilize more oxygen in order to create more energy. Cardio workout can be done
daily(4-5 times a week) for 30-40 minutes. Please start slowly if you are a beginner. The idea should be to slowly
increase your heart rate while exercising and let the blood flow efficiently to each part of the body. Cardio
exercise should not be performed with food inside your body. Either do it first thing in the morning after you wake
up OR atleast leave your stomach 2 hours empty before performing any Cardio Exercise. Even fast walking is
attributed as cardiovascular exercise. For a beginner it is ideal to start slowly and perform a cardio workout for
atleast 20-30 minutes 3-4 times a week. Drink water before, during and after a cardio workout so that you are
not dehydrated. A Cardiovascular fitness program should be a consistent activity in your lifestyle.
Please remember cardiovascular exercise will be more beneficial in aiding towards weight loss . I can truly say
this with my example. The different types of cardiovascular(aerobic exercises ) can be defined as :
- Running/Jogging on a treadmill or a park.(This has been my favorite)
- Brisk Walking
- Skipping
- Cycling
- Swimming
